Avoiding Virus Infects Our Computer

No matter how good antivirus we use plus newest update can't guarantee our computers are virus free, because viruses always evolve and antivirus update (mostly) only follow the development of the virus itself,
it would take few days for antivirus to detect new types of viruses, leaving our computers more vulnerable.

For most users, may have known the informations in this article, but for common users may find this article usefull to avoid virus infection to their computers. The rapid growth of the viruses may because some of the virus developers release the source code of their virus, firstly may only for information exchange, but this action also encourage other programers also to develop their own virus.

These are several things need to be prepared to prevent virus infection to our computers :

- Always update your antivirus, al least once a week. if your computer online regulary, make sure that your antivirus set to auto update.
- Deactivate autorun featur in our computer, so neither CD / DVD and flashdisk we insert to our computer doesn't automatically execute virus if it contains virus.
- Show the file extensions to ensure that we don't open a dummy file created by virus and show the hidden file.
- Check every flashdisk inserted to our computer, if it contains an autorun.inf directing to an .exe, .dll, or .scr then it may contain virus, to secure the computer, quickly remove the directed file and scan the flashdisk with your antivirus.
- Use tools to see running applications, if some weird applications sppoted, you can google it to find out about it.

Hopefully this short tips can be usefull.
