For those who already get used to with delphi programming must have known that a result from compiling an empty form is quiet big. For Delphi 5, will result an exe file with size around 290 KB and for delphi 7 will be around 360 KB. Eventhough nowadays, the size of an exe file doesn't really a problem anymore compared with the size of memory and hard drive which has become gigantic, but sometimes this can makes the programer to be unsatisfied. Especially compared with the VB compilation result which is around 20 KB or VC++.
